Local born artist ABOTZ’ passion for graffiti began at a young age, evolving from tagging to complex murals and a distinct presence within the street art of London. His upbringing in Kilburn heavily influences his art, forming the foundation of his cultural inspiration.
Bold, playful and distinctive, his work blends classic graffiti and iconic cartoon imagery with a subtle and nuanced social commentary.
Drawing inspiration from iconic cartoon imagery, Abotz developed his own, unique characters. With vibrant colours, exaggerated expressions and unmistakable £-symbols for eyes, his cats carefully toe the line between joyful childish nostalgia and astute social observation, hinting at a world increasingly obsessed with money and consumerism
