Gary Hogben London born artist has always been interested in art. From a very early age he was always found with a pencil in hand sketching by sixteen he had started painting in water colour mainly painting animals which he would gift out. From there he progressed onto oil paints producing copies of the modern masters such as Salvador Dali, Degas, Cezanne and Renoir. He has now developed his signature style creating totally captivating collages through the medium of postage stamps. Hogben prefers to create familiar, iconic portraits/imagery which further adds to his unique pop art style.
Hogben’s work can be found in art collections around the globe. He has also featured in Vogue magazine, GQ magazine, House of Coco and this December a two page interview in the American Philatelist Journal.
