Ben Farleigh is a London based artist, designer and the creative director of streetwear brand ‘Yes No Maybe’.
Ben creates works inspired by the belief that design is everywhere, and everything. Interwoven into our daily lives, design is the colour of our walls, our favourite shirt, the decisions we make and the outcome of our thoughts. Ben’s art blossoms from the understanding that art is the design of colour, form, and emotion. Whether it’s a bright orange reminiscent of the sun, or a contrasting sketch where you’d least expect it, his art influences the mood and that is by design.
Ben’s ‘London Brick’ series takes a staple of design, the humble brick, and transforms its purpose. Moments of humour, joy and unexpected materiality emerge from the simplest of objects resculpted as art.
