MARK PETTY

Mark Petty is a London based artist and image maker. He specialises in hand-pulled screen prints and reverse glass gold gilding, incorporating hand painting and hand applied diamond dust and gold leaf. The result is truly dazzling works of art. Steeped in contemporary Pop Art and soaked in cultures of modernity, Petty uses bold symbolism – from rave smileys to skulls – encrusting them with shimmering, textured details, so that they seem sparkle within their frames.

All Petty’s work is emotional to him, none more so than the ‘Ocean Life, Limited Edition’ series. Petty has made this work entirely of recycled material or up-cycled waste plastic.
